Fridays are for Gratitude!
Dropping routines in the summer is not suggested. Therefore, FriYAYs continue on into the summer! Fridays are a great day to share gratitude, give thanks, and express our appreciations to those who need to hear it. Why gratitude? It's been proven to boost moods and make you happier. I know there's some research out there that supports this, just trust me. Sometimes that person is ourselves, fyi.

-The first day of Summer is today!
-A healthy body that allows me to work out and soreness that reminds me of such
-Girlfriends that share the same affection for dive bars and lunchtime Bloody Marys
2 things I'm looking forward to today:
-Picking up my dog from daycare and his exhausted happy smiley face
-Bloody's with the girlfriends (duh)
1 thing I can do for someone else:
-Pick up a surprise for our vacation coming up!
That took about 3 minutes...it was harder at first. But once you get the hang of it, it really is a mood booster and can shift your perspective.
